Upward Into the Castle Dark

A great concert opener, this new work is an overture which depicts the fantastical journey to a magic castle. With rhythmic outer themes, and a more somber, quiet middle section with medieval modes, this descriptive, exciting work will be enjoyed by both the players and the audience.
