In 1999 brachte Metallica eine Liveversion von ‘Nothing Else Matters’ heraus, in Zusammenarbeit mit ‘the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra’ unter der Leitung von Michael Kamen. Diese Bearbeitung inspirierte Bocci um eine Bearbeitung für das Harmonieorchester zu machen.
