None But The Longing Heart (Often translated as None But The Lonely Heart) is a song for solo Voice with Piano accompaniment. Written in 1869, it is the last in a collection of sixRomancesthat formed the composer's opus 6. The words were originally written in German by Goethe, and translated into Russian by Lev Mey. The English words have been produced here by E. Teschemacher.
