A producer puts on what may be his last Broadway show, and at the last moment a chorus girl has to replace the star... This songbook contains all the songs from the 1980 Broadway production, arranged for produced by DavidMerrick, well-known for productions of Hello, Dolly!, Gypsy! and Promises, Promises.

With a script by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, the show was an instant hit and was showered with praise by the critics that summed itup as 'Dazzling', 'Thrilling' and 'Electrifying'.
